An academic sharing
Our school, INSA Lyon, has many contacts with universities all over the world and especially in Asia. Thus one of the main aspects of our project will be to maintain contact with the Japanese universities which are partners.
To do so we will go to partner universities in Tokyo (Universities of Todai and Keio) and Sendai (University of Sendai).
We will present the INSA's education model : the humanist engineer.
And it will allow us to visit Japanese universities laboratories and discover the way they work.
In addition to universities, we will visit Japanese companies currently in agreement with our school. Indeed they offer each year internships to our students, so we must make them respect to visit their premises to learn to know them.
The country of Judo
Our group is composed entirely of judo enthusiasts. Indeed, we are all part of the judo sports association of our school : SKIL. Most are also members of federal clubs outside.
Having the opportunity to go to the original lands of our sport is an inexhaustible source of motivation. Once there, we will do several training sessions with students sharing the same passion as us.
A clash of cultures
Located more than 9,000 km from Lyon, Japan is a gateway to Eastern culture. Having the opportunity to discover this culture, to share with the Japanese, to discover eternal places, are some of the reasons that motivate us to organize this project.
We will also be able to share our culture with the Japanese students we will met. In a world as connected as ours, learning to know differents cultures is essential. Especially in the engineering profession.
